Imitating, monkeys? you are so ignorant, Bollywood makes way more movies than hollywood in just one yr. what is there to imitate about hollywood, it's so mainstream now. You probably should watch more of the bollywood movies, they are a lot of fun and not as much violence or sexual content. I've been to this competitions and I think they are great. so there!

Don't forget that the college competitions started off with and remain Bhangra competitions. Give credit where credit is due...these competitions were (while I was in college) and remain dominated by Punjabi Bhangra...though others do participate. Even Bollywood can't make a film without bhangra or some mention of Punjabi's. This article went out of its way not to mention Punjabi's.

Good to see the culture out, but it's getting too mainstream and losing it's authenticity and lifeblood. By the way, um...ask Gujuratis or Tamilians and they say they are "Gujurati" first; Tamilians say they are "South Indian." The Punjabi dude does have a point about Bhangra comps putting this on the map. NE Ways, you can be from whatever region of "India" and proud of it. "India" wasn't "India" until 60 years ago...you cannot kill thousands of years of tradition, culture, and heritage by saying "Be brown and proud...It's like the Ukranians never said they were "Soviet". So girl, take a chill pill. Indian Army is Indian'...blah blah blah"

Do you ever wonder why Bollywood films seldom win any international award ? They are silly , that is why. No one takes them seriously except the Bollywood mafia that produce these movies to turn black money into white ( Read Shantaram ).To promote sillyness through crazy and meaningless dance numbers is at best immature and at worst in poor taste.
