Venice Pits public graffiti walls are the fastest walls in the west—they're often completely repainted five times in a day. It's madness, I tell you! Some people want to shut the Pits down. That would be sacrilege if, as their manager insists, graffiti is the new Great American Pastime?

Homegrown legend Dytch 66 enlists fellow graf artists to create a Six Hour Wall at the Venice Pits. We go all time-lapse on you.

Plus, the famed CBS Crew's prolific "outdoor gallery" of graffiti murals (they're legal) on the alley walls and rooftops surrounding Melrose Ave.

For those of you who do not appreciate (or bite) graffiti-art, it's origins, or the art's forthcomings, learn how to do something creative and passionate in your lives without emulating or capitalizing off of someone else's artistry & personalty. I've been working on my style for 20 years and still consider myself nowhere near the skill and perfection of a piece that I would publicize anywhere other that on paper or my own skin.

by adding free walls in every city it will bring the graffiti off the streets and onto legal walls, giving our generation the means to paint, and saving our parents generation tax dollars to cover up illeagal grafitti. By putting up walls in every city it will: 1. Keep kids out of trouble 2. Save money in the communities now why are all these old men in office not putting up walls?.. they just dont get it, when our generation is in control things may finally change

I don't see why the man made grafitti illegal...it's not gonna stop us from doing it...If they illegalize cans, we'll use markers. They ban markers, we'll use streakers, they ban those, we'll use pens and pencils. pretty soon they won't be able to stop grafitti without taking away our school supplies. I don't care if I get seen with my ink on me. I always have a marker or two with me, as well as stickers.
